LEAD Awards 2018

The LEAD Awards, Leadership and Engagement Achievements of Distinction, recognize students from ASI, the Center for Leadership, Center for Service in Action, Club Sports, Clubs & Organizations, Safer, and the University Honors Program for their exceptional contributions to Cal Poly.

This collaborative awards ceremony will showcase leadership and service efforts from outstanding students across campus. Attendees are invited to enjoy refreshments, mingling, networking, and a recognition of a suite of leadership achievements at Cal Poly. We hope to see you there!

What are the LEAD Awards?

Leadership and Engagement Achievements of Distinction. A collaborative awards ceremony that showcases leadership and service efforts from outstanding students across campus.

• Who: ASI, Clubs & Organizations, Club Sports, the Center for Service in Action, the Center for Leadership, Safer, & the University Honors Program
• When: May 16, check-in and refreshments begin at 5:15pm, awards ceremony is from 6-8pm
• Where: Chumash Auditorium, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

How do I nominate someone?

Nominations have already closed for the 2018 LEAD Awards.

Who is invited?

All Clubs & Organizations Presidents, Club Sports Presidents, Center for Service in Action students, Center for Leadership students, and select Safer and Honors Program students, and of course, anyone who has been nominated for a LEAD Award.

Who gets to bring a plus one?

All nominees are allowed to bring a plus one. Please have your plus one register for their own “plus one” ticket on our Eventbrite page.

If you are invited as an officer/representative of a club or club sports team, you can bring two additional guests. Please have your plus one/two register for their own "plus one" ticket on our Eventbrite page.

What should I wear?

Please come dressed in cocktail attire. This is a banquet-style event, and we love seeing everyone look their best.

Should I eat dinner before?

We recommend eating a large lunch and light dinner before the event. We are only serving light appetizers and refreshments, so make sure you don’t come on an empty stomach!
